Studio Stories is a place for short notes, reflections and behind-the-scenes moments from Dance is Ceramica — a ceramic studio in Vilnius where handmade objects are created through movement, touch and attention to form.

Here I share the process behind my ceramic sculptures, tableware, one-of-a-kind pieces and pottery classes. Some stories begin with clay, others with dance, body memory, architecture, or the quiet rituals of everyday life. Each object is made by hand, slowly, with all the small imperfections that make handmade ceramics alive.

This page brings together selected stories from the studio: how pieces are born, what inspires them, how materials behave, and why ceramics can be more than functional objects. For me, ceramics is not only craft. It is a way of giving movement a permanent form.
