Unique Handmade Ceramic Sculpture – A Vessel of Memory
This unique handmade ceramic sculpture is an object of stillness and strength. Sculpted in our Vilnius studio as part of the “Ashes and Dust” series, it reflects the layered aftermath of destruction and survival—burnt walls, hollow spaces, and whispered echoes of what once was.
The dark, earthy black clay of this vase is accentuated by a flowing, glossy glaze that drips down its textured surface, creating a striking contrast between matte and sheen.
The deep blue glaze, speckled with subtle golden flecks, creates a starry, celestial effect, while the unglazed natural clay base adds an earthy contrast.
